  • Are you a veterinary student eager to explore the intricacies of eye care? We invite you to join our dedicated ophthalmology department, Eyes At Prospect Vet, for a week-long placement. Our commitment to providing hands-on experience and valuable knowledge will set you up for success in your veterinary career

Eligibility

  • Our placement opportunities are exclusively for veterinary students in their final two years of study
  • Due to demand, we are only able to accept placements of one week

 

Placement Information

  • Please arrive at 8.30am. Our eye referral consults usually finish at 6.00pm
  • Our car park is reserved for clients. There is parking available on the back streets
  • Please bring a set of scrubs and clean surgical shoes. You will be required to change into them prior to surgery
  • Please make sure you have an understanding of eye anatomy, the process of an eye exam and common eye conditions. We recommend reviewing your ophthalmology lectures
